Donald Frakes, DDS
Family Dentist
Dr. Frakes spent his high school years in Green River, Wyoming, where he graduated in 1979. He attended the University of Wyoming and then the University Of Nebraska College Of Dentistry in Lincoln, Nebraska. Upon graduation, he was excited to return home to Wyoming to begin his dental practice. He has been practicing in Evanston ever since.
Dr. Frakes has been in private practice since 1990. He enjoys working with patients of all ages, young and not so young. He is an active member of both the Wyoming Dental Association as well as the American Dental Association. In the past he has served as director of the Southwest District of the Wyoming Dental Association as well as on the Peer Review Board. Additionally, he is currently the dentist on staff at the Wyoming State Hospital and Rocky Mountain Care Center.
In his spare time, Dr. Frakes loves to hike, hunt, and golf. He is married to Laura. They have raised six children in Evanston and have 8 adorable grandchildren.
Mandy
Mandy Judd resides in Coalville, Utah where she has lived for the past 20 years. She has worked for Dr. Frakes for 13 years as a registered dental hygienist. She loves being able to interact with her patients each day, educating them and keeping them on track with their oral health. She is married to Nathan who was raised in Evanston. Together they have four sons who keep them busy! Mandy loves sports, music and traveling.
Brenda
Dental Assistant
Brenda Gerrard is an Evanston native. She has been working as Dr. Frakes’ assistant for 23 years. She is a valuable asset to the office due to her many years of experience. Brenda has been married to her husband Clifford for 43 years. They have a beautiful family made up of three daughters, their spouses and ten wonderful grandchildren. Brenda loves watching movies, sewing, and crafting on her downtime. Most of all, she thoroughly enjoys spending time with family. She loves trips to the family cabin in the Uinta Mountains and camping at Bear Lake.
Celia
Receptionist
Celia Williams has worked in Dr. Frakes’ office for over 20 years. Her responsibilities include managing the front desk, and welcoming and greeting patients both on the phone and in person. She helps patients with appointments, insurance claims and all other general receptionist duties. She enjoys the interactions with our patients and works hard to help them feel comfortable in the office. Celia has lived in Evanston all of her life. She is married to Kent; they have four children and six grandchildren. She enjoys reading, cooking, and playing both the piano and organ. She loves kettlebells as recreation. When she is not working, she enjoys following her grandchildren in their activities, camping, and spending time outdoors.
